skc originals

Sharon started skc originals in 2014 in order to co-produce Give Me Back alongside For the Love of Learning (now known as Artforce). Together, they produced a remount in 2015, a provincial tour in association with the Arts & Culture Centres in 2016, and a short tour to the Twillingate area in 2017. The company’s second show, Original, premiered in 2018 with co-producer PerSIStence Theatre. skc originals remounted and toured the show to the Ottawa area and to parts of Newfoundland in early 2020, and later that year PerSIStence produced a live-recorded video of the show as part of their 2020 re-imagined pandemic season. skc originals was also proud to team up with Ottawa-based company Bear & Co to bring their production of Vern Thiessen’s Shakespeare’s Will, and professional development workshops for local actors, across Newfoundland in 2018.
