The play that won’t quit is back – returning to its home venue at the LSPU Hall for 4 nights.
When we first opened this show, in the summer of 2018, the piece has a raked set with swirling colours, and a hanging disc of water floating overhead. That’s the version that we toured to Ottawa, Halifax, London, and Charlottetown. For smaller venues, we’ve been doing ‘the concert version,’ which is the exact same show without the set or any lighting design. Since this show seems to have very long legs, we are trying out a new design this time – one that is simple enough to load in in a single day, but still feels complete. Jill Keiley has been back at her genius again, working out something very cool with a bench, and I have been privileged to help for a bit of it.
I have seen this show hundreds of times, and I would still see it again. Please welcome this little show that could back home.
