This weekend, I’ll be telling stories of trickster characters from folk traditions all over the world. Characters like Anansi from the Caribbean, Loki from Norway, and, of course, Newfoundland’s own Jack will get up to mischief. The show is fun for children of all ages.
I have two performances this weekend:
Soup & a Song at the Grand Bank Regional Theatre, Friday, August 8th, 12pm. $15 for adults/$10 for children.
Storytime in the Park in Bowring Park in St. John’s, Sunday, August 10th, 2pm. FREE!
*Sunday’s performance was originally set to be at the Peter Pan statue, but has been moved to the Fountain Pond in the west end of the park, near the playground, to accommodate the Newfoundland & Labrador Folk Festival also happening there this weekend!
Please come see!
