Pottery Smashing and Poetry Reading

Remember, in January, when I learned this poem for the launch of Riddle Fence’s two latest issues?

That was so much fun, we’re going to do it again.

This time, Riddle Fence and the St. John’s International Women’s Film Festival are co-hosting what is maybe the coolest film/lit event of all time: Ann Shin – a poet and filmmaker based in Toronto – is going to be reading from her collection The Family China and then will invite audience members to come and smash their own family heirlooms.

So, if the fact that I’m “doing” a poem isn’t enough of a draw, doesn’t that sound like FUN? How can you MISS that?
